The Devon Rex
RippleRex Cattery is located in Claresholm, Alberta, in Canada, about 1 hour south of Calgary. I am dedicated to the quality and health of the Devon Rex Breed. These little human-like, elfin cats are just the most captivating cats I have ever encountered. They are very family oriented. They love to be with you, sit by you while you work, and do not like to be left alone. If you are at work all the time and no one is home, it is a good idea to adopt two kittens, so they have each other for company. My cats and kittens are all raised in a smoke-free enviroment and I prefer to sell them to smoke -free homes.

The Devon Rex is friendly, loyal, quiet, and very intelligent.
They come in all colors, even the mink and pointed colors. They can also have various eye color, gold, green, aqua and blue.
The Devon Rex coat is curly and is comprised of a downy undercoat only. A Devon is strictly an indoor cat, and if you want to have a cat that goes outdoors, please select a cat more suitable for you. My kittens must go to homes where they are always keep indoors, unless supervised on a harness and leash, or an outdoor pen.
My kittens need lots attention,
and I don't want to send them to a home where they might not be happy. They must not be caged, unless for their safety or for travel. Another thing to consider is that I do not allow my kittens to be declawed.

I am a breeder that sells neutered or spayed pet kittens or altered Show quality kittens. All my kittens are raised with me in my home, taking turns sleeping with me. They get lots of special attention. I look for the best possible "forever homes", for my kittens, where they will be loved and cared for throughout their lives. I do like to meet all the potential buyers prior to promising my kittens. When emailing me or contacting me about adopting a kitten/cat, please fill out the questionnaire on my website, so I will know a little bit about you.
My kittens/cats are raised naturally, on a *Raw Diet*. This is the natural diet of a feline, and I want the kittens be kept on a raw diet, for the health of the cat. I supply each new owner with lots of information, and I am here to offer my help at any time.
The recipe I use for my cats has been formulated and tested to be the correct diet for a cat. You can use it as a guide, as I know most people are not going to make their own food for one cat.
*Raw Food Recipe.*
There are many health food stores for pets all across the country, where you can buy frozen raw food for your pet. The recipe is just a guideline of what they need in their diet. For more information about the digestive system of a cat, please click here * Feline Digestive System*.
People should also be aware of the dangers of over-vaccinating our cats. Cats that are vaccinated when they are young, after 16 weeks of age, will retain their immunity for life, just as we do.
*Pet Vaccination*.
The kittens are all ready to leave for their new homes at about 14 weeks of age, and all are spayed or neutered before they go. They go with a Health Certificate from my Veterinarian. I also prefer to micro-chip kittens at the time of surgery.
RippleRex Cattery tests for Herpes, Calicivirus, Toxoplasmosis, FeLV and FIV and is negative.
